Meet the Owners
Jody and Sherri
Pictured above are the owners of Smart Docks and Decks, LLC, Jodi and Sherri. Jody formed Smart Docks and Decks, LLC in the spring of 2021 in Rockport, Texas, but he was no stranger to the marine construction industry. For many years Jody worked for his father at Smart Docks Inc., until 2006 when he became a partner. The experience and knowledge Jody absorbed and learned throughout those years led him to understand the kind of dedication and attention to detail it takes to design and build docks, decks, and other products in the marine construction industry. During early 2021 Smart Docks Inc. was dissolved, thus leading Jody to carry on a beautiful family tradition at Smart Docks and Decks, LLC. Sherri also came into the business with Jody in the Spring of 2021. She has an extensive administrative background and is an asset to the daily functions of the office. She maintains company records, does the accounting, manages the office, prepares the primary customer correspondence, and so much more. Jody and Sherri are dedicated to maintaining excellent customer service and hands down have the Smartest choices to offer when it comes to your waterfront design. When they are not working, you can find them out hunting, fishing, and spending time with their family. They are both active in the Rockport community and take pride in hometown excellence when it comes to stellar service.
